Vanskee
is offering a patented, highly effective and very
affordable mosquito trap, which systematically catches
and eradicates mosquitoes. The trap includes an
environmentally-friendly lure that gives off smell
mimicking human's and animal’s body odor. Mosquitoes
are attracted to the trap, captured by suction and then
dehydrated/starved to death. No toxic pesticides or
insecticides are used. Unlike some traps available on
the market, the expensive and dangerous propane gas, or
carbon dioxide, is eliminated.
Introduction

Outdoor activities are
often time spoiled by mosquito bites, especially in
the park, woods, backyards and camping grounds etc.
A mosquito bite can cause the annoying red skin bump
and itching through an allergic reaction to the
mosquito’s saliva. Worse yet, mosquito bites can
transmit serious diseases such as malaria, dengue
fever, encephalitis and West Nile virus. 1.The main body - The green color of the trap blends well with the yard.
2.The lure chamber
3.The lure holding cap
Specification
Dimensions : 35W x 52D x 91H (cm) Rated Current : Max 500 mA Power Consumption : ~30W

Trap assembly
1.Slide three provided legs into the receiving sleeves of the trap.
2.Remove the lure holding cap by turning the cap counterclockwise until
meeting resistance. Then pull the cap down.
3.Peel printed sticker off the lure package and place the lure in the cap.
4.Secure the lure cap back on the lure chamber following the reversed
procedures of Step 2.
Note :
1.Start operating the trap as soon as the outdoor temp reaches 20℃.
2.It may take a week or so before seeing trapped mosquitoes. Keep
the trap running 24 hrs a day. Mosquitoes are slowly, but surely,
attracted to the trap, and then died of dehydration/starvation
over several hours of time.
3.Do not open the mesh until the time for the biweekly cleaning.
Freshly caught mosquitoes may be still alive. Try to clean the
mesh at ~2:00 pm when least likely to catch mosquitoes in the
past 2-3 hrs.

Question and Answer
1. Q: What is the total
area effectively covered by the Mosquito Exterminator?
A: In an open field, the area covered is around 100
square meters. Any shields reduce the range
significantly.
2. Q: Can the machine be
operated outdoor in rainy days?
A: Yes, unless a typhoon (hurricane) or a storm is
coming. Make sure that the electrical plugs/receptacles
are protected from water.
3. Q: How long do the
mosquito lures last?
A: The lures perform best within 3 – 4 weeks once their
printed cover layers are peeled off. Therefore, to
ensure an effective trap replace the lure every 4 weeks
(or every one month).
4. Q: Are these lures
harmful to human or environment?
A: No, natural products and food grade ingredients are
used as attractants. The lure releases smell that mimics
human’s odor. Mosquitoes are attracted by this odor and
chase after it. By vacuum suctioning, the trap catches
the closing insects and then dehydrates/kills them. No
pesticides are involved.
5. Q: Where are the
proper locations for setting up the Mosquito
Exterminator?
A: a) Where has a high mosquito population, such as,
around dead water (pond and ditch etc), bush, basement,
parking garage and garden etc.
b) Where has no gust of wind or wind blows at less than
5 – 10 kilometers/hour
c) At least 5 – 10 meters away from human activities
d) Do not operate mosquito lanterns in the neighborhood
to avoid interference
e) To prevent (minimize) mosquitoes from getting into a
house, operate one trap near the entrance door
6. Q: Can the Mosquito
Exterminator be used indoor?
A: Yes, however the efficiency is compromised when human
is around. Keep in mind, human body is still a better
attractant than bait. So, put the trap in rooms like
kitchen, study den and family room etc. after bed time
and in bed rooms during the day.
7. Q: When is the time of
a year to begin operating the Mosquito Exterminator?
A: As soon as spring comes or temperature rises above 20
C. Keeping the mosquito population low early, the number
of mosquitoes can be reduced significantly for the
entire year.
8. Q: How soon a positive
effect of the Mosquito Exterminator can be seen?
A: It depends on the severity of the mosquito
infestation. If the population is high, one night or two
is enough to find hundreds of dead mosquitoes.
Otherwise, one week yields noticeable results.
9. Q: How often does the
catching net need to be cleaned?
A: Generally speaking, clean the net once a month and
synchronize with changing the lure. If the environment
is particularly dirty or the mosquito population is very
high, it may require frequent cleaning. Use a brush or a
used tooth brush to clean dirt or dead bodies off. Do
this around noon time to avoid live (freshly caught)
mosquitoes from escaping when open the net, since most
of mosquitoes are caught at night or in the early
morning. It takes a couple of hours to dehydrate them.
