Turb 430 T is the new portable turbidimeter according to US EPA
180.1 for the measurement range from 0-1100 NTU and thus is the complementary
instrument to the Turb 430 IR acc. DIN EN 27027/ ISO. The instrument has been
designed for the use at changing locations from water analysis to process
control. It is smart, robust and waterproof by fullfilling IP67.
With storage of 1000 measurement values, an
adjustable calibration interval and documentation via RS 232 interface the
instrument offers features which usually are reserved for lab instruments.

Also available as complete set with integrated “lab tray” to work
comfortably in the field!
3. Pharmacopoeia 5.0: new
optical design keeps stray light “out”
Turb 430 models stand out by a new optical design with IR or
tungsten lamp and a “light trap”. They fullfil the stray light requirements of
the Pharmacopoeia 5.0. Stray light influence is excluded that much, that even in
the critical measuring range below 1 NTU/FNU best reproducible results can be
obtained.
4. Calibration: Precise and
nonhazardous
Calibration is easy to perform by an automatic 3-point
calibration with user guidance on display. With Turb 430 T/IR a calibration
interval can be set. Calibration is documented in a GLP compliant way with a
calibration protocol via user Interface RS 232. The supplied AMCO Clear®
calibration standards are – compared to formazine – nonhazardous.
5. Application notes for
drinking water and measurements below 1 NTU
In addition to high precision of the instrument, the accuracy for
lowest range can be improved by excluding cuvette influence.
